We live in a fast-paced world where multi-tasking has become the new normal, and doing tasks at faster speed. At work, we are busy. At home, so much housework. School, music, sport and activities fill up the day of your kids. But, sometimes, we need to breathe, relax, and enjoy the moment of our life. When you feel tired, it is fine to slow down and rest a while. Life is short. It passes by quickly. In the blink of an eye, kids grow up, graduate from school and and our life has passed.  

There is more to life than increasing its speed.

~Slow down and enjoy life. It’s not only the scenery you miss by going too fast – you also miss the sense of where you are going and why.

What can we do to slow down the fast pace of life?

Reclaim your morning

Wake up slowly in the morning. Give yourself those few extra minutes so you have time to actually sit with your morning drink or eat breakfast with your kids and family.

Less is more

Life can become cluttered with too many things. Simplify and reorganize your works. Cut down your kids’ activities . Let your kids to focus on one or two activities they are interested.

Take a break

Take a shower or just lie down on your bed and sofa and shut out the world for that time. Without much talk on your mind and enjoy the present. Shut down TV and talk to your kids. 

Create new experience

The world is full of opportunities to do something new. Cooking with your kids, go nature walk, camping, yoga. Doing something different from your normal routine has more impact on your mind.
