A Father means so many things. An understanding heart, a source of strength, and support right from the very start.
Don’t forgot to write a lovely message to your dad to show your appreciation and say thanks for all he’s done.
For all things you’ve lead me through and taught me.
And for promising me that you will never leave me.
Through and through you’ve shown me the ropes.
Helping me in anything and everything I face.
Everyday you’re there for me by simply calling your name.
Rarely do I get to thank you enough. So on this special day, I do exactly that.
Thank you for being my father!
You might have some many things to your dad face to face but lack of words or fail to find the right time. Writing a letter is an option for you.
I know you to be warm-hearted and caring, loving and nurturing. I know you to be soft and thoughtful. I know you to be a philosopher of sorts, a writer, an intellectual, a critic and a thinker of deep thoughts. I know you to be a speaker, a lighter of rooms and a challenger of nonsense. I know you to be mysterious, foreign, and a holder of sacred thoughts. I know you to be all of these things and more, even if no one else can see it.
With as much love as the world can contain,
Make this Father’s Day special by finding the perfect way to celebrate Dad. Time spent together is a great way to celebrate dads.
Bond with Dad – Go to a park and plan a nice day of bonding. This can include a fishing, a hiking trip, a round of golf – whatever helps you enjoy the great outdoors together.
Coffee time – Make a cup of coffee for your dad. Talk about economics, politics, business or school while enjoying the coffee.
Build Something – Does Dad spend his free time in the garage or wood shop? Build together.
Break out the board games –Pop some popcorn, clear the coffee table and get out dad’s favorite games. To make things more interesting, make it a family tournament or learn a new game together.
Movie Night – Order or make Dad’s favorite pizza and turn on a family-friendly show that he’ll love. It’s the perfect ending to a fantastic Father’s Day.
